Pretty in Pink and covered in floral print...
Stephanie and her bridesmaids had some fun while getting ready the morning of the wedding. When we first met Stephanie, she had a clear vision for her wedding day: classic romance with a touch of rustic elegance. Her downtown venue, River Roast, lends itself to both design possibilities. Needless to say, we were delighted to bring her vision to life and even more excited to collaborate with the incredibly talented Katherine Salvatori Photography and amazing team of wedding planners at Shannon Gail.
We design many styles of bouquets at Pen and Petals, but one of our all time favorites is a classic, garden-inspired bouquet. For Stephanie, blush and white were important colors to incorporate, so we chose a starting line up that would feature the best blooms in those colors, including garden roses, ranunculus, anemone, soft greenery, and subtle foliage for texture. Stephanie, a naturally stunning bride, looked absolutely perfect in her gorgeous gown and bouquet in hand. As she approached her soon-to-be hubby, Eric, there’s no wonder why his reaction included a few tears of happiness.
The bridal party enjoyed the afternoon downtown before the ceremony. The room was set and ready with a beautiful combination of elevated and low centerpieces, heavy candle light, garden-inspired floral, and subtle pops of rustic decor. The sun was setting on the riverfront as guests began to arrive, creating the most beautiful, romantic ambiance mixed with the soft glow of the candles and pops of color from the flowers. We were so honored to be a part of Stephanie and Eric’s wedding day and to bring their vision to life!
